Biography
Born on November 25th, 1983 in the city of Elche, Alicante. Roice 183 holds a career that has been spanning for more than two decades in the graffiti world. His passion for the 90's hip hop movement led him to start painting at the early age of 11, inspired by the burgeoning scene that was developing then in schools and parks throughout the peninsula. Beyond his street work, which never ceases, Roice 183 has explored new forms of expression that have taken him to discover new languages for his art.
He now ventures into paintings that present abstract forms in which slightly more precise figures seem to insinuate themselves, thus establishing a unique visual dialogue. In his painting, a web of interwoven stories emerges, where each brushstroke and element seems to suggest the existence of other works within the totality. Inviting the viewer to contemplate his work in a leisurely and reflective manner, gradually unraveling new meanings that coexist with the more obvious aspects.
