Biography
I've been a fine artist since I graduated from Parsons School of design in the 90's, but 10 years ago I started working on murals on the streets initially but also commissioned murals for different organizations, and clients. I've worked with different ranges of sizes and themes for my murals, but there are two main themes present in my personal work which are Social Justice and Environmental issues. I've done around 60 murals spread in the US (Massachusetts, NY, Michigan, Georgia, Florida, California), Dominican Republic, Colombia, Italy, and Spain, being the biggest one 7 stories tall the highest, and 2,500 square feet the biggest. What I love about public art is the sensation of democracy that it has, how different people, no matter gender, ethnicity, or age, can enjoy it, can be impacted by it, and can make connections with their own life. Right now I'm based in NY where I'm obtaining my MFA with concentration in painting and developing personal projects.
