Biography
Working as an artist over the past 20 years, I’ve developed a unique visual language informed by historic layers, natural patterns, and universal symbols. While employing these elements I seek to draw parallels between past narratives and contemporary topics such as environmental conservation, celebrating the past while looking toward the future, and democratizing access to art through public spaces. These ideas manifest in my work through different mediums including painting, mosaic, stained glass, animation, and most notably, murals.
As of today, I’ve created 65 public artworks in over 25 cities across 16 countries. I've been fortunate to have worked with some incredible project partners including The Nature Conservancy, the Albright Knox Museum, Times Square Arts, When We All Vote, The World Trade Center, PangeaSeed Foundation, The Explorers Club, The US Embassy to Italy, Wynwood Walls, and The Atlantic Magazine. In addition, I’ve created public works with several municipal art commissions such as the Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs, LAUSD, the Cities of Laguna Beach (CA), Eugene (OR), Grenoble (France), Aalborg (Denmark), Jersey City (NJ), Hoboken (NJ), Paris (13th Arr.), Hollywood (FL), Grosse Ile (MI), Monticello (IA), and Binghamton (NY).
