Biography
I'm French street artist RAST. I developed the unique concept of electrically powered mechanical murals thanks to my engineering degree (Polytech Paris - 2017) and an apprenticeship in the automotive industry.
I've already created such mechanical murals in Indiana and North Carolina which are very popular with the public (Estela's reel has over 200,000 views). I'll be creating new ones in Massachusetts and New Jersey in June and July.
My murals are mainly portraits. My goal is to paint murals that improve the living environment and unite communities. On large facades (1,600 m² on average), in bright, cheerful colors, my frescoes deliver positive messages. The residents are proud of them.
I often work in neighborhoods marked by delinquency (Saint-Cyr-l'Ecole, Noisy-le-Sec...) and my creations are punctuated by mediation with the residents.
